Abbots Care LTD

We are a family run care agency who employ, train and provide care workers.

Our passion is to ensure all our clients receive a person centred service. With more than 18 years’ experience within the health and social care sector, we offer a flexible and specialised service, tailored to meet the needs of all our clients. Our clients can range from the very young to the elderly; we provide support through Domiciliary Care, Residential care or Live-in care to individuals who could have learning disabilities, physical disabilities, and/or mental health issue.

Our industry is good because we are all about making a difference to people’s lives and helping them live as independently as they can. Abbots Care has a vision of providing an excellent service to all our service users, and in order to do this we want to employ the best care workers out there. We are a very caring company, with over 18 years’ experience in the Health and Social Sector. Other good aspects of working in the Health and Social sector is that it is a very rewarding job, and training and development is offered by some companies like Abbots Care,  in order to help care workers with no experience gain more knowledge and a career within the industry.

Unfortunately some conditions can result in challenging behaviour, however a reputable care agency such as Abbots Care will provide all the training needed.

We provide equality and diversity when recruiting, so we look for the same in all our applicants. They must be caring and kind, reliable, enjoy working with people, be positive and flexible with a can do attitude and have good communication skills. They must also be able to work every other weekend and willing to attend further training.

We read through applicants CVs/Applications and complete a telephone interview. If suitable we then book in for an interview, after which we complete a DBS check and check references.

Our key advice: To provide care for people you will need to be kind, caring and willing to work flexible hours, you would also need to be patient. We would recommend people interested to work within this industry to gain as much experience and training as possible in order to progress within a company and in the Health and Social sector.
