Organised by Youth Connexions, the afternoon was attended by over 100 students from Years 10, 11 and 12. They were able to meet and explore options with a broad variety of employers, including Airbus, East of England Ambulance, Fujitsu, Hertfordshire County Council, MBDA, Herts Police, NHS East &North Herts Trust, Stevenage Borough Council, and The Army.

The school encouraged students to prepare in advance and research the organisations on the internet. This helped them to prioritise who they wished to speak with and ensured they got the most benefit from the event.

Feedback from both students and employers was good .The exit survey showed that every single student found the event valuable and informative, and employers felt the students showed a good level of interest, were focused, engaged and asked good questions.
