Getting your A-level or GCSE results? Youth Connexions is here to help!

17 August 2016

Whatever results you get – whether better or worse than you hoped for – there are plenty of options for you. Youth Connexions advisers are on hand to help you to think about the right choices for you, whether that’s in education, training or employment.

On both exam results days, 18 and 25 August 2016, Youth Connexions will be running a Q&A about exam results on twitter @hertsjobs16to19 using the hashtag #YCResults16. Post a tweet including this hashtag and an adviser will answer your question.

David Williams, Cabinet Member for Education, wishes all students getting their results good luck. He said:

“I’d like to wish Hertfordshire’s students the very best, and am confident that their hard work will have paid off. Young people receive excellent teaching in schools across the county and results consistently show that Hertfordshire performs above the national average, so there is no need to feel too anxious or stressed. Whatever the outcome when those envelopes are opened, I’d like to reassure you and your parents that help is available. Whether you’ve exceeded your expectations, had a change of heart about what to do next or if the news isn’t what you hoped, dedicated people will be on-hand to give you all the advice you need and schools will have members of staff available to talk through your choices. Whatever you decide, I hope you have had an enjoyable summer and wish you the best for the future."
