Youth Connexions recently coordinated a one day careers event for Key Stage 5 students at Presdales School in Ware. Students participated in an energetic careers carousel where they had the chance to meet local, national and global employers and seek advice and information.

42 young people from across Watford and Three Rivers who are working towards their Bronze DofE awards took part in a very successful practice expedition during June. ‘Expedition’ is one of four required components of the Duke of Edinburgh's Award programme, the other three being Volunteering, Physical and Skills.

Youth Connexions’ careers and work related learning programme Rocket into the Future is designed to inspire primary school students to start thinking about their skills and aspirations. Personal Advisers delivered Rocket into the Future sessions for both Year 6 classes at Flamstead End School in Cheshunt in mid June.
