Summer’s Sounding Better Already!

Supported by Youth Connexions, Summer Sounds is the biggest free youth music event in the St Albans District. It will take place on Sunday 11th July in Clarence Park from midday to 5pm.

13 Riots, one of the local bands due to play at Summer Sounds

Organised by St Albans Youth Council and Harpenden Youth Town Council for a strictly teenage audience, ages 12-19, this year's event has another packed line-up of local performers. The playlist includes The Understated, Conor Walker, Kalazar, 13 Riots, Kristian Kiss and DJ Hutch. Unfortunately, The Art of Reason has had to withdraw but have been replaced by the well known band, Change of Plan.

The afternoon offers young people the chance to hear local artists perform in a great outdoor venue whilst enjoying the array of refreshments on site whilst relaxing with friends. Entry is free.

St Albans Youth Councillor, Joe Gess, 18, says "Summer Sounds is there for young people from all around the district to get together and enjoy themselves. It’s a great opportunity to listen to up and coming young artists in a great venue"
