vtalentyear scheme
This scheme recruits young people to become volunteers within Hertfordshire local authority's children and young people's services.
Young people will gain:
- Experience of working in young people's service within local authority
- A minimum level 2 qualification

Valuable transferable work skills, supporting their future progression
Financial support will be provided at the end of the placement to support young people with their transition into education, training or employment
Recruiting August 2010 for September 2010 start
This year's programme started in March 2010 and will run through until February 2011. A further recruitment will take place in August 2010 for a new phase starting September 2010.
